We feel honored that you have taken the time to view our book and get to know our family. We have long prayed for a future child and their mother, but by reading through our book we want you to know that we are now specifically praying for you! No matter what decision you make, it will be difficult. As you make a plan for yourself and the little miracle inside you, we hope that you find peace and feel God’s presence with you during this process. Your strength is evident as you decide what is best for you and your child. We believe that the most important thing to remember is that God is with you and loves you both. We hope to be a part of your story and you to be a part of ours if you so choose. We also hope that as you go through the pages of our book you will see how love is at the center of everything we do. All of the love in our family is just an extension of God’s love for us and we can’t wait to share that love with another child and their biological family!
While it is true for everyone that God begins preparing you for your spouse at a young age, this was especially true for us. We met at our church when we were just six years old! We were friends for a long time as we hung out with the same people, but we did not really become close friends until high school. There were even times that we set each other up with other friends. As our friendship grew through being involved in different youth events, we realized that there were some much deeper feelings for each other developing. We began dating right before senior year of high school and knew early on that this was not like any other high school relationship. We decided to attend the same college where we made wonderful memories and lifelong friends. As we grew into adulthood as individuals we grew in our relationship with God and that brought us even closer in our relationship. We dated for five years before we got engaged our senior year of college. We have been married now for eight years and we love the new adventures we have had together! Simply spending time together is our favorite thing. That time can be as simple as Netflix on the couch but often looks like trying new restaurants, visiting new places, and going to the movies together.
