Surrogacy

Serving as a gestational carrier (surrogate) for intended parents struggling with infertility is an incredibly selfless act of service.

Gestational Carriers

We'll make sure you have a voice.

We work with gestational carriers throughout the state by representing them in the review and negotiation of their gestational carrier agreements.  We also represent gestational carriers in pre-birth orders and final parentage proceedings.  We will make sure you have a voice in the process and you understand your options.  We will be there throughout your pregnancy as questions arise.

More and more couples are choosing to build their families through third-party reproduction

Intended Parents

Advances in the medical field have provided families with the opportunity to build their families through the use of gestational carriers (surrogates) and donor genetic material (via egg donors, sperm donors, and embryo donors).  We work with intended parents to make sure they are legally protected when utilizing these processes to build their families.

During your first consultation, we will listen to your story and what your specific needs are to tailor a legal plan that will ensure you have peace of mind and you are legally protected when your baby is born. Our full service firm will assist you from the early stages with drafting gestational carrier agreements and donor agreements to drafting pre-birth orders and obtaining final parentage orders at the end of your journey.

Our firm can assist both donors and recipients in drafting contracts to protect their interests and any necessary legal proceedings.

Third Party Donors

Utilizing donor egg or sperm comes with legal concerns regarding parentage. We will guide you through the process of determining what contracts and proceedings are necessary to protect your rights and establish parentage. Similarly, in embryo donation, embryo donors provide recipients with unused embryos to allow recipients to become parents. Our firm can assist both donors and recipients in drafting contracts to protect their interests and any necessary legal proceedings.

For heterosexual and same-sex couples, both married and unmarried, who utilize a surrogate, donor egg, donor sperm, or donor embryo, parentage proceedings may be necessary to ensure both partners share legal rights to the child. Our firm can help you discern the best course of action to have your parental rights legally established.
